12th ANNUAL FISHING DERBY
Saturday May 7, 2005

Registration for ages 1 thru 6 is 7:30 to 8:30 AM
Fishing will be from 8:30 to 10:30 AM

Registration for ages 7 thru 12 is 10:00 to 11:00 AM
Fishing will be from 11:00 to 1:00 PM

Fishing poles will be provided for any child who does not have one.

Prizes will be awarded.

Memorial Day Parade
Sunday May 29th, 2005

The wreath lay ceremonies and memorial service at the monument in front of the library will begin at 1 PM.

The parade will start at 2 PM, forming at the high school and ending at Reeders Alley on South Main Street

Boonsboro Ambulance & Rescue Company Carnival 2005
Starts the weekend before Memorial Day for 10 days. 

Dates are Friday May 27 thru Saturday June 4, 2005. 
Benefit Boonsboro Ambulance and Rescue Company.

5th Annual Independence Day
Celebration July 3rd, 2005

The Boonsboro Independence Day Celebration will be held the evening of Sunday, July 3rd beginning at 5:00 p.m.  Any non-profit organization that would like to participate should contact the Town Clerk, Barbara Rodenhiser at 301-432-5141 or send an email to Park Board Chairman, Joe Scalese via this link

Please plan to bring lawn chairs for seating as current weather and park conditions will not allow for blankets on the grass.

National Night Out 2005
America's Night Against Crime

National Night Out is celebrated annually on the
1st Tuesday of August 
(Aug. 2, 2005) in Shafer Park from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. 
Plenty of food & drink for all. 

This event is sponsored  by the Mayor and Council and the Washington County Sheriff's Department to increase residents awareness of crime prevention for all Boonsboro Town Residents.
